One of the things I often run into with my family is my grandmother constantly badgering me about why A. has gone upstairs, and why is she spending so much time in her room, etc. She just can’t seem to understand why she wouldn’t rather be downstairs with everyone else (while I’m looking around at the noise and the crowds often wishing *I* was upstairs, too!) I really agree with you that allowing our children a “space” where they can go and regulate themselves is key to a positive holiday experience. Thanks so much for sharing — and I love the song!
So much great info packed into this post Lindsay! Thanks so much for sharing! Always looking for new tips to improve my health. And my family’s!
