We’re well and truly on the count down to Christmas now. I am a little bit obsessed with Christmas cooking shows at the moment – LOVE them. Last night I watched a marathon of Donna Hay’s Christmas, followed by Jamie Oliver’s. I still have Gordon Ramsey, The Great British Bake off Christmas special and lovely Nigella on record. I haven’t actually started cooking anything yet but watch this space!!!
In the meantime, here are some fabulous Thermomix Christmas recipes I have found on my travels around the internet recently.
Doesn’t this Chocolate salami from the The Super kitchen Machine look delicious??
Alyce Alexandra also has a great selection of Christmas recipes especially for the Thermomix. I have picked four of my favourite (all of which are on my Christmas cooking list). If you live in Melbourne she is also offering Thermomix Christmas cooking classes. I would jump on them if I lived closer.
1. Choc, rum and raison ice-cream. YUM!!!
2. Chocolate panna cotta. I’ve never made panna cotta before, but this one looks too good not to try.
3. Christmas Chutney. A great idea for homemade gifts.
If you haven’t already bought the 4 blades e-magazine I suggest you check it out. It is jam packed full of Christmas recipes this month and all for the Thermomix. That rocky road wreath on the front cover looks AMAZING!! It would look so fabulous on the table on Christmas Day (as long as it’s not too hot).
Finally the very lovely Peta behind the blog “The road to loving my thermomixer” is selling a handy 2015 calendar with 37 recipes.
That’s it from me this week. I hope I’ve given you some holly jolly Christmas cooking inspirations. I only have one more Thermie Thursday post coming up this year and it will hopefully be including some of my own Christmas recipes.
Are you cooking show junkie like me or have you already got your Christmas bake on??
Great ideas. Love the rocky road wreath. If only the ants wouldn’t eat it between now and then!
I didn’t even think about the ants! I was too busy worrying about the heat! x
Everything looks so delicious. However, if I made that Rocky Road wreath now, it would never last until Christmas. It would just be begging to be eaten! And yep, I’m totally addicted to all those Christmas cooking shows, they’re the best!
Yay, glad it’s not just me. I’m actually going to attempt to do a few of Donna Hay’s recipes this year and try and make out Christmas Day a little more “Australian” xx
Hello! That chocolate salami looks great. I agree if I lived in Melbourne I would be lining up for Alyce Alexandra’s cooking classes, will have to settle for her books instead. Will be checking out 4 blades now too. Thanks
You must, their mag is fab and so are all the pd casts. Very handy to listen to in the kitchen. xx
What a great round up, I’m especially loving the shortbread wreath! My thermomix arrived a month earlier than expected and I will now be working my way through some of these great ideas over the weekend! Thanks for linking up with us for Fabulous Foodie Fridays, I hope you have a lovely weekend x
How exciting!!!! I can;t wait to see what you came up with. We made your Christmas cookies in there yesterday and they were super easy and delish xx
Chocolate Salami!!!!! OMG Yes!!!!!
Absolutely!!! :))
Hi Robyn! Thanks for featuring my chocolate salami on your lovely blog — I love what is being produced by all the talented Thermomix bloggers these days and am honoured to be in such good company. Christmas is like the Bonanza/Motherload of mixing events, there is so much to choose from, it’s totally fun and exciting. You are really helping me get into the spirit… wish you lived nearby so we could mix together!
Oh that would be awesome!! I think we could cook up a storm in the kitchen. I love all your ideas, it’s so great to have a lovely fellow thermie lover to bounce ideas off x
