It’s only two weeks until my kids will be on school holidays and the thought of it is giving me the jitters already. Although it will be amazing to not have to make lunch boxes every morning, I still have to feed them during the holidays and (for some reason) they seem to want to eat NON STOP!
Luckily the weather is warming up here in Sydney, so having a tonne of fruit in the fridge always helps, but I find that if I have a load of snacks pre-made it really takes the pressure off.
Here are a list of some great snacks that you can whip up in almost no time at all in the thermomix. A lot of them are freezable too, so baking in bulk just before the holidays can save you heaps of whinging! Just click on the links and it will take you straight to my recipes.
BEETROOT AND RED VELVET CUPCAKES
GLUTEN AND NUT FREE MUSELI BARS
CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES WITH BUTTERCREAM ICING
CHOCOLATE AND DATE CHEWY COOKIES
SUGAR AND NUT FREE APPLE MUFFINS
I hope you find something in this list that they kids will enjoy and that you all have a fabulous school holidays. I must admit, this one is my favourite. It’s not too long and the spring weather is (usually) beee-uutiful! So bring it on. Happy kids with happy tummies.
I shouldn’t be reading this when I’m hungry. Everything looks delicious!
Hahaha, it’s like going grocery shopping when you’re hungry. Worst mistake ever!! xxx
This post is pushing me dangerously towards needing a thermomix. Which I don’t need! 😉
Oh but you doooooo, lol xxxxx
Wow my kids sure do miss out on the yummy food stakes with me as their mum! x
Oh but Em they get so much extra special cool stuff from you. Who needs baking anyway, lol. My kids miss out on the craft so we’re even. Plus you make a damn fine digger cake! x
These all look so good am curious to try the beetroot red velvet cupcakes.
They are surprising good and you can only just taste a hint of beetroot. My son didn’t notice it at all until I told (after he had eaten 3) xx
Wow!Those betroot cupcakes look really good! I like these recipes. They’re not too complicted and they just require short preparation and cooking time.
What a brilliant list, so many yummy things to choose from 🙂
Yummy, there’s a whole lot of school holiday deliciousness on this list. Thanks for sharing Robyn x

Yum – what a great list. Although I don’t own a thermomix, I am sure that the snacks would go down a treat with my two little stay-at-homes…They are always hungry.
