It’s no big surprise that doing the Long Reef headland walk is like medicine for my soul. ย The views just NEVER get old and I always come home smiling afterwards. ย I’ve posted so many beautiful photos before that I thought I’d do something a little different today. ย I hope you like it.
*This video was very cleverly edited by Mr D.
Happy Wednesday.
Oh Robyn – what a beautiful video! I don’t know where in Sydney that is because I’m not a local but wow it is beautiful! My sister lives at Balgowlah near Manly. Is it anywhere near there? What a wonderful keepsake to look back at in the future with your children. Technology has come a long way since my kids were little. I so wish we had access to all today’s technology back then. I really enjoyed your video and the music you chose was perfect! Have a great day ๐ xo
Thanks Min and I know exactly what you mean. I so wish we had done it from when the kids were babies. At least we’re starting now though and they just love watching them back already. Long Reef is not far at all from Manly – it’s slightly further north, about 15 mins in the car xx
You are so clever Robyn! I love this and perfect song choice too. You’ve certainly captured the beauty of this spot! xx
Thanks Lucy but I can’t really take the credit for it as Mr D did the editing. He’s very good at finding just the right music x
Gorgeous video Robyn. Long Reef Headland is very special to us, it’s where dear hubby proposed!
Oh wow, that is special. What a beautiful place to propose xx
Awesome video! You make me want a Go-Pro so bad! I think we may have to head over one day and give that walk a go, I think the girls would love it (and so would I of course!).
They are so much fun Kylie and it’s amazing the things you can do with them. I just wish we had ours when the kids were babies. Your girls would LOVE it xx
This is awesome. What a beautiful place to do a walk.
Thanks Becky. It’s one of our favourites xx
Wow that was really cool!! Very clever.
Thank you Ann. I will tell Mr D you thought so :))
I had to laugh at the bubbler bit! Beautiful video and what a location – no wonder it is good for your soul x
Hahaha – she was not happy with Dad after that!!! x
I’ve never wanted a go pro camera, but having watched your videos I think I’m missing lots of moments I could be capturing for the kids when they get older. Maybe I should ask for one for Christmas?!
I wasn’t that interested either. It’s always been Pete’s toy but once I saw the footage I became totally hooked!! It comes with really easy editing software too – you just need to order some extra time on your Christmas list too xx
I loved watching that! So joyous!
Thanks Kaz. It makes me smile too x
Oh, how lovely!
What a great video. I need a Mr who can edit video
What a stunning video! Love it ๐
Walking along the headlands is my ideal place to be, something soothing about the water and views!
Thank you Lisa. Mine too – it never gets old x
Love this Robyn! I want a GoPro so bad they make the most awesome videos.
They do! I love how versitile they are and they’re pretty fun to use too x
That was fabulous! Gorgeous views too ๐
Thanks Alicia xx
This made me laugh out loud when they were at the water fountain, we used to do that to kids when we were at school, turn it up high as they were drinking! Gosh your son is SO your husband. Mr D is quite the editing guru, this is fabulous. Loved a sneaky image of you with your camera around your gorgeous neck xx
That hubby of yours just keeps getting better and better. I havent done that walk forever. I might take the boys this weekend xx
