I’ve just spent the last 4 days on a jam packed adventure to the Gold Coast attending the Pro Blogger Conference. While I was away I left Mr D in charge of the troops. I knew he’d be more than fine but just to be on the safe side I left a LONG list of things ‘he might need to know’ as well as a few healthy dinners in the freezer. Of course he completely ignored everything and they all had hot dogs for three days straight!
However he surprised me with the little video to show my just how well he coped. It made me cry with laughter and well……….just cry!
So, how does your husband cope when left alone with the kids?? Are you proud as punch or do you have a disaster story?? I’d love to hear them.
LOVE IT!! He was very clever and very BUSY while you were gone, heh heh! I think I see more videos in your future.
Also wanted to say how much I LOVED being your roomie. It was so great to get to know you better and make a good friend in the process xxx
ME TOO!!!!! It could not have worked out any more perfectly! I had the best time. You have up for sharing next year again?? XX
Look how far that man-about-London-town has come. Loved the battle of the boots!
I know!!! Who would have thought it hey Sue?? xx
Oh Robyn, that was so great! Every Dad should try to dress a recalcitrant Miss at least once a week! How fab this was to come home to for you! Denyse x
I LOVED it!!! Watching it back (when it’s not me doing the wrestling) is just soooo funny!!! It should be a challenge to all Dad’s. xx
Oh my gosh. I teared up watching this because it made me think of my hubby and my kids. They love having a good ol dance and muck around together. I think it’s great that a lot of Dad’s had some extended quality time with the kids this weekend. Thanks Problogger 🙂
I think there needs to be quite a lot of high fives going out to Dad’s this weekend – you are so right!! I loved that I got a sneaky fly on the wall peek! xx
This is so fantastic Robyn. Not only is your hubby a super dad but he’s a video genius! xx
Hahaha! Thank you lovely. I just need to get him to teach me now xx
So LOVE this Robyn! What a fantastic idea of Mr D’s – he is very clever indeed!
The toddler wrestling is absolute gold – we do a lot of that here too!
Such a beautiful family!! 🙂
Thank you Jodie. I think he’s started something here – might have to do a few more of these videos xx
That was fantastic! I love the little tanty when the TV gets turned off, and trying to get her shoes on, oh my gosh, that is me every day! Great work Mr. D!
Hehehe, me too! Turning off Peppa Pig can lead to some whopper tantys!!
What an absolute legend, and clever video maker, he must have had headcam at one stage. Go Pete, you’re an amazing dad!
He did Em! I think he secretly loves it. xxx
So cool! Give Pete a high five from me!
Oh no wonder you cried – I cried just watching that. You must have been so homesick after seeing that, but what a gorgeous hubby you have to do that for you. And your littlest munchkin.. OMG she has spunk! 😉 xx
My Husband always tells me, “This is easy, I don’t know what you are complaining about!”
When I get home only half of what I would do is done! But the kids are clothed and fed…
Oh, that is gorgeous. I just giggled, because I think the video would’ve looked quite similar at this house x
