Last weekend we decided to have some fun with the kids at Sydney’s Olympic Park .  To make it a little bit more exciting than normal we booked a family room at the Pullman Hotel for the night.  Mr D has often done day trips with the kids there but I usually opt to stay at home (to enjoy the peace), so this was my first visit.  I was pretty blown away by not only how HUGE it is but also by how much there is to do!!  Oh and of course room service breakfast in bed was a major highlight!! Here are a few snaps for you to enjoy.  Some were taken with my Canon (I’m still practising remember) and some were taken with my iphone 5.

    • We’ve never done one before and I think the idea is definitely a keeper. A break without going too far xx

    • Hahaha, you are too kind. I am such a fuss pot with my camera – am never happy and get so frustrated when I don’t know what I’m doing (too many buttons) xx

  1. I haven’t had a Sydney staycation for far too long. Great idea to stay there as then there’s no rushing and no tired grumpy kids int he car. Bet it felt like a real break.

    • Exactly!! I got most of my inspiration on what to do when we got there from your blog. Thanks xx
