Mr D was away so my lovely cousin LA came to stay with us from Melbourne.  It was so great to see her and the kids loved all the extra attention they got. I was also so happy to have a red wine partner in the evenings.

I am having a new found love affair with my SLR camera and am really starting to get brave with the settings (baby steps though).  Unfortunately this weekend I went out with all my equipment, but forgot to to the memory card back in the camera from my last download!! SO ANNOYING! So my trusty iphone was the backup option.

Here’s a few snaps of our Sydney winter long weekend (not much beats a bank holiday Monday).

Lunch in the (chilly) sunshine. We made the most of being outside as the day before it rained so hard we almost had to build an ark!
