Too easy chocolate cupcakes with buttercream icing in the thermomix

My girls LOVE baking, but I have to admit that sometimes I just can’t deal with the mess!!  I find sprinkles for days afterwards in the weirdest of places – they seem to just get EVERYWHERE!!!

Also when I say they love baking, really all they want to do is the decorating.  Miss H loses interest in the mixing part pretty quickly and often states “Mum, just call me when it’s time for the fun bit!”.

This chocolate cupcake recipe is a total WINNER for kids and is guaranteed to get you a whole bunch of smiles and happy kids for at least 45 mins (which is a LOT of peace and quiet believe me!). They take just a couple of minutes to mix up and only 15 minutes to bake.  Too easy!

I often whip them up just before school pick up, so when they come home from school they’re all ready for the ‘fun bit’ – and it sorts out afternoon tea too.

Went to make these tonight and realised the recipe may need milk! SO I added about 110 grams of milk :) Nice and easy!

The mess drives me nuts too! I don’t let them do much decorating for that fact. But then I don’t do lots of baking either. :)

Oh the mess! I usually send them outside to lick the beaters and quickly ice them myself.
I love the idea of baking them before the school run do they’re ready when they get home. Thanks for linking with I’m Pinning Around. xx
